We Built This For You

Binghamton’s Premier Pole Dance & Fitness Studio

At 607 Pole Fusion, we believe that every single person who walks through our doors deserves to feel powerful, confident, and completely at home in their own body.

We are Binghamton’s premier pole dance and fitness studio — and we are so much more than a gym. We are a family. A community built on one simple, radical belief: that movement transforms lives, and that transformation belongs to everyone.

Our classes cover the full spectrum — pole fundamentals, dance choreography, heels, floorwork, conditioning, open practice, and yes, even Roller Pole. Every class is designed to meet you exactly where you are and carry you somewhere you never imagined. Beginner or beyond. All for $20. No judgment. No prerequisites.

Just you, the pole, and the most supportive community in the 607.

This is where you rise

Our Story
From One Woman’s Journey to a Movement

It started in 2021 with a simple, quiet desire: to feel confident, healthy, and at home in her own skin.

Sarah had no idea that stepping onto the pole for the first time would change everything. But it did.

What began as a personal search for confidence and health became a deep, years-long love affair with the art form. Through every climb, every spin, every moment of shaking arms and triumphant breakthroughs, Sarah discovered something far greater than fitness. She found a version of herself she didn’t know existed — powerful, fearless, and fully alive.

In 2024, she made it official. Sarah earned her Xpole Xpert Certification — one of the most respected instructor credentials in the pole world — and began teaching at studios across the region. Class after class, she watched what the pole did to people. She saw nervous beginners become confident athletes. She saw her students rediscover themselves. She saw the transformation happen, over and over again.

And then she looked around. Binghamton had no pole studio to call its own. The 607 had no home for people who wanted what she had found.

So Sarah built one. From the ground up. For all of us.

In January 2026, 607 Pole Fusion opened its doors in the heart of Binghamton — not just as a fitness studio, but as a gathering place. A sanctuary. A community of people from every walk of life, every body type, every age and background, united around one shared truth: that transformation is possible for all of us.

That’s what “Fusion” means to us. Not just a blend of dance styles and fitness disciplines — though it’s absolutely that. It’s the fusion of people. The magic that happens when a room full of strangers becomes a family.

This is Sarah’s story. And now, it’s yours too.

Instructor

Hi, I’m Heather!

I’ve been passionately practicing pole dance for 10 years, having started at the age of 40. Now in my 50s, I continue to train, grow, and fall in love with this incredible art form every single day.

Before pole, I had spent over 25 years working as a corrections officer. I was feeling insecure, disconnected from my feminine energy, and limited by an ankle injury that made high-impact workouts difficult. I longed for something that would make me feel strong, confident, and good in my own body again. The moment I stepped into a pole studio, I was mesmerized by the strength and confidence of the dancers around me — but I felt completely uncomfortable in my own skin and doubted I’d ever have the upper body strength for it.

Still, I showed up determined. Week after week, I got a little stronger and a little more comfortable. Moves that once felt impossible started to flow. Within a month, I could already feel the difference — not just physically, but in my confidence and self-worth. Pole gave me my spark back.

Over the past decade, life has brought challenges — raising children, taking short breaks, and dealing with injuries. I’ve learned to work with bad knees and a stiff shoulder, adapting my practice and listening closely to my body. These experiences have taught me resilience and patience, and I’ve even installed a pole at home so I can keep training and freestyling on my own terms.

Today, I’m excited to take the next step in my journey by becoming a pole instructor. With a strong foundation in the fundamentals and years of real-life experience, I’m especially passionate about helping beginners who feel exactly how I once felt — insecure, “not strong enough,” “too old,” or convinced they “can’t dance.”

I want to show you that pole is truly for every body and every age. Whether you’re dealing with injuries, self-doubt, or simply looking to reconnect with yourself, I’m here to support you with patience, encouragement, and practical modifications. Together, we’ll build your strength, boost your confidence, and help you fall in love with yourself again.

I can’t wait to share this life-changing practice with you!

"I started pole dancing because I was looking for a new outlet during a time when I couldn't play roller derby. Since moving to Aries, I have become a certified pole and flying pole instructor as well as a roller pole teacher and am always trying new aerial apparatuses. I'm a huge fan of choreography and combos, and am always encouraging my students to freestyle at the end to make it their own. One of my favorite things is seeing a student light up when they nail a trick or feel good in a combo or choreography."
